Count 'em, 85 CDs. I slowly started making my way through them. And then the other day it occurred to me that this is a relatively rare experience that might be worth documenting, just for the heck of it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am not a musician. I don't play any instrument. I can't read music. I'm just a regular guy who loves classical music.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I already know a lot of Beethoven. The symphonies, of course, and overtures, and his piano concertos and sonatas. But there's an awful lot that I'm unfamiliar with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This blog will attempt to document my thoughts and reactions to all of Beethoven's works, one CD at a time. There will probably be some digressions along the way, too.
